Absolite (quest)

The Absolite quest is the questline done in order to acquire the Mega stone for Absol―the Absolite.

Preparations

To make the quest go as smoothly as possible, these preparations should be made:

• An Absol with at least 22 IVs in both Speed and Attack with your OT
• A strong team of 6, preferably all level 100
• 5,000

Instructional Walkthrough

To begin the quest, head to Route 121. Just in front of the entrance to the Hoenn Safari Zone, you can find the Tournament Judge NPC. He will inform you of a tournament where the prize will be the Absolite. To enter the tournament, you must pay the 5,000 fee and show up with a ‘decent’ Absol, along with 5 other level 100 Pokémon. The Absol you show him must have at least 22 Attack and 22 Speed IVs. However, the Tournament Judge will tell you that the contest won’t begin until tomorrow, meaning you will have to wait for around 5 hours to begin the contest and if you miss the time, you will have to pay the entry fee again to participate.

The tournament will consist of 4 battles, each in a 3v3 format, except for the final battle which is a 6v3 battle. You will need 6 Pokémon to register, but will then need to deposit 3 of your Pokémon to begin the battles. You are allowed to swap between any of the 6 registered Pokémon, but can only use 3 at any given moment. Once you are registered and prepared, you can speak to Richard to begin the contest.

Once you defeat all the trainers, speak with the Tournament Judge and he will reward you with the Absolite and 30,000.
