Fury Swipes is a Normal-type damage-dealing move.

Functionality

Fury Swipes is a multi-strike move; it inflicts damage in spates of 2-5 strikes per turn.

Each strike will be treated as a discrete attack; for example, if the opponent is employing a Focus Band, Focus Sash, or the Sturdy ability, they will only sustain the first swipe and will faint on the subsequent swipe(s) if they do not have enough HP remaining to sustain it. If the target is holding a Rocky Helmet, the user is damaged for each strike. If the target has an Ability that activates upon contact, each strike counts individually, enabling the Ability to activate multiple times.

Pokémon with the Ability Skill Link will always hit five times when using Fury Swipes if it does not miss.
