Trainers Valley Cave is a special Kanto area in the Trainers Valley region. It is located between Trainers Valley and Monkey Path, although an NPC will be blocking the lower path. Although the cave is dark, there isn’t any need to bring Flash, as the layout is a simple rectangle with nothing of importance and both exits being aligned vertically, making it impossible to get lost.
Notable miscellanies
Apo
Apo will be blocking the southern exit. He will request to show him the three elemental monkeys, but no weak ones. More specifically, they must fulfill the following conditions:
- All three monkeys must be shown, namely Panpour, Pansear and Pansage. They must not be evolved.
- The total IV points of each monkey must be 90 or higher.
- Each monkey must have been caught by the player, as OT is required.
Once all three monkeys have been shown, he will then want to fight the player. It is however possible to refuse and return with a full level 100 party without the elemental monkeys. Most level 100 Pokemons will however to defeat his team easily, as their levels average at 90.
Once defeated, he will leave, allowing the player to access the entirety of the Trainers Valley region.
