Route 47

Route 48 is a Johto route located between Route 47 and the Johto Safari. Being the last location before the Safari, and quite a distance away from Cianwood City, a mini-town has been built in front which houses a few facilities and NPCs to prepare for long hunts in the Safari.

Notable miscellanies

Johto Safari mini-town

The Johto Safari is built at the very north end of the route. However, being at quite the distance from Cianwood City, a mini-town has also being built as the Safari’s entrance. There are a few facilities and NPCs that will come in handy to prepare for a tour inside the Safari.

Pokémon Center

In the north-west of the mini-town is located a Pokemon Center. The building functions as a normal Pokemon Center, making it a good place to rest the Pokémons and take a look at the caught Pokémons from the Safari. However, there is no underground subway, meaning quick travelling to and from this particular Pokemon Center is not possible.

False Swipe TM vendor

In the south-west of the mini-town is located a TM vendor, who will sell TM104 (False Swipe) for 4,000, or for the discounted price of 5 for 16,000. This move is particularly useful for catching Pokémons, as it will weaken a wild Pokémon without the risk of killing it, greatly increasing the chances of capturing it.

Old Man Jenkins

In the north-east of the mini-town is located Old Man Jenkins, a vendor that will sell a few items useful for catching Pokémons. However, some of his items are slightly more expensive than their normal price, as such it not recommended to buy from him.
