Canalave City Route 218 Jubilife City

Route 218 is a Sinnoh route that connects Jubilife City to Canalave City. At first, only the entrance is available, leaving nothing to do but to talk to Barry. Once Surf is available to use again, all of the route, including the wild Pokémons, become available. However, Canalave City‘s entrance will still be blocked until Hearthome City‘s gym has been completed.

Notable miscellanies

Barry

After completing the Trainers School quest of Jubilife City, the teacher will say that Barry is gone to Route 218. After speaking to Barry, he’ll disappear and go to Route 203. Going to that route will now become possible.

Honey Tree

Main article: Honey Tree

The Honey Tree in Route 218 is located immediately north from the patch of grass in the west side of the route. By spreading Honey onto the tree, a random wild Pokemon will appear, and the tree will enter a cooldown of 24 hours. This Honey Tree is categorized as a Normal tree; spreading Honey to multiple Normal Honey Trees in a row will reward with stronger Normal type Pokemon.

Synthesis Tutor

A Move Tutor for the move Synthesis can be found in the south of the patch of grass. She will teach the move to any compatible Pokémon for the price of 12,000.
