Galactic Grunt Chase quest
After completing the city’s gym, the next objective will be to talk to the Galactic Grunt near the entrance to the Sinnoh Safari. He will run away to the gate of Route 213. Talking to him again, he will run away to Route 213, and this chase game will continue for a little while.

Pastoria Gym
The Gym layout is fairly easy. There are a few bridges that are displayed as a block with a water symbol on top of it; these cannot be crosses. It is necessary to find the corresponding lever and press it to turn the water bridges into crossable bridges. Some of the switches actually teleport the player though.
The gym-greeter will not offer to sell or teach any move after defeating Wake.

Wake
Wake is the Water type specialist of Sinnoh. His team is fairly simple however. His type’s two weaknesses, Grass and Electric, are both checked by Ice Fang and Mud Bomb respectively. Electric, in particular, will be completely walled by his Quagsire. However, the moves of his Pokémons are a little lacking in power and coverage, so it is easily possible to play defensively with many types.
