Route 110

New Mauville is a Hoenn Power plant isolated on an island northeast of Route 110. On top of requiring Surf to reach it, the entrance is also going to be blocked until the Hoenn Elite Four has been completed.

It is most notable for being the location of two very important quests. The first quest, for which all of the area is dedicated to, is to unlock the teleporter, allowing fast travelling between Pokemon Centers of Hoenn and Sinnoh. An important NPC for the second quest, which unlocks Sinnoh, is also hidden inside of New Mauville. It is thus necessary to at least visit this area at least once in order to complete all of Pokemon Revolution Online’s storyline.

Notable miscellanies

Teleporter Quest

When first entering New Mauville after completing the Hoenn region, Wattson will be seen together with two Maqua admins. After the two Maqua admins are gone, Wattson will explain that he wants to shut down New Mauville. Without much explanation why, he leaves, leaving it up to the player to head down.

Objective 1: Reach the main computer

The first objective will be to reach the north-eastmost room, where the main computer. However, because of all the electro barriers, it will first be necessary to battle the Aqua Grunt west from the stairs. Because of another electro-barrier, it will however be necessary to go around from the north and battle every trainer in the way.

Upon defeating that Aqua Grunt, she will reveal that she hid the remote-control key, which will be the next objective. It will be hidden in a box of the currently north-westmost accessible room, where Nova is if he hasn’t been fought on the way. More specifically, it will be in the serparated box of the room’s south-east corner. With the key obtained, it will now be possible to proceed further north.

The north-eastmost room will now be the next objective. After defeating the trainers and reaching the room, Whitney and Shelly will be waiting there, however there won’t be any boss battle. Instead they will leave and Wattson will appear.

Objective 2: Repairing the computer

After speaking to Wattson, he’ll ask the player to get his Plusle and Minun. Those two pokemons have a very long patrol path, however speaking to them while they are not near a generator is no good. As such, it is necessary to go to the generator rooms and wait until they appear:

  • Minun: Two rooms east of Lt. Surge.
  • Plusle: The room west of the entrance, where the Aqua Grunt that hid the key was. It is necessary to stand immediately next to the pillar with a yellow orb.

After this is done and reported back to Wattson, he will give the next instruction. This time, he wants to install a program on three computers. These are any Pokemon Center, however which ones can be installed to are random between the following towns:

  • Oldale Town
  • Petalburg City
  • Rustboro City
  • Dewford Town
  • Slateport City
  • Mauville City
  • Verdanturf Town
  • Lavaridge Town
  • Fallarbor Town
  • Fortree City
  • Lilycove City
  • Mossdeep City
  • Sootopolis City
  • Pacifidlog Town
  • Ever Grande City

When inside a Pokémon Center, speak to the Security officer in the upper floor to enter the Transmat Station. Once inside, the computer to examine is on the west side of the room. If it is one of the 3 computers, it will say it has been successfully uploaded. Else, it will say a countermeasure has already been installed.

Once all 3 programs have been successfully installed, Wally will appear on the east side of the room. It will be necessary to fight him, and he will be at his strongest, with a full team estimated to be level 100.

Once he has been defeated, the player will automatically be warped back to Wattson in New Mauville. Speaking with Wattson will complete the Teleporter Quest and return the player back to where he or she was. Teleporting between Pokemon Center of Hoenn and Sinnoh will thus become possible, at the fee of 2,500 if the player does not have an active Transit pass.
