Lavender Town is a city located in Kanto. It is the convergent tripoint of Route 10, Route 8, and Route 12.

Lavender Town is initially accessed by players through a circuitous itinerary en route to Celadon City—the city of the fourth gym in Kanto’s successional line of them—after they have navigated through the Rock Tunnel on Route 10. Whereupon you initially enter this route, you will inadvertently eavesdrop on two police officers who mention that they are dispatched on an investigatory mission in Celadon City; this is a prelude to the Celadon Rocket Hideout quest, which is a prerequisite for completing the Pokéflute quest, here.

The town is most saliently known for its ghostlore, having one of the most concentrated inhabitancies of Ghost-type Pokémon in Pokémon Revolution Online in the Pokémon Tower gravesite.

Notable miscellanies

Pokémon Tower

Main article: Pokémon Tower

The Pokémon Tower is a mausoleum wherein specters of deceased Pokémon are believed to commune with its visitors. These spirits are believed to manifest themselves in the form of its Ghost-type inhabitants, making it one of the most prolific areas to hunt for Pokémon of that type.

This site will initially be inaccessible; most of the antecedent prerequisites are done in Celadon City, which is where the Silph Scope and Rainbow Badge must be procured, in addition to interacting with Mr. Fuji in the only residential building of Lavender Town beforehand. Before these conditions are satisfied, an elderly woman nearby will disadvise you from entering.

The Pokéflute quest must be completed within this site’s domain in order to obtain the eponymous item; this can be used to rouse the occlusive Snorlax on Route 12 in order to advance through the otherwise-roadblocked trisection.

Boss Urahara (boss) can be found in Pokémon Tower 3F.

Foul Play Tutor

A Move Tutor for the move Foul Play can be found in the south-west corner of the town. She will teach the move to any compatible Pokemon for the price of 15,000.

Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame is a commemoratory building wherein the winners of each PvP Season are conferred with commendatory recognition. Statues and leaderboards are constructed as tributes to the uppermost-ranked PvP champions of the present and past seasons.
To access the Hall of Fame you need to be Kanto and Johto’s Champion.

Lavender Subway

Lavender Town is one of the seven destinational outlets available in Kanto’s intraregional-subway system, thereby providing an expeditious shortcut to this area and to six other destinations from it.

Contingent that you have completed the intraregional-subway quest, you may board the subway from Lavender Town’s Pokémon Center for a fee of 2,500.
