Statistical Attributes

Inferno is a Fire-type damage-dealing move.
Functionality
Inferno inflicts damage, and it will invariably burn the opponent if it successfully lands a strike.
While the technique is high-powered and will be providentially viable in-battle overall if it lands a strike, its 50% accuracy is considered undependable enough that some less risk-happy battlers prefer lower-powered but higher-accurate moves, such as Flamethrower, for their consistencies.
