Route 122 ↓ |
|
|
Mt. Pyre is a Hoenn area located in Route 122. There are two parts to the area: the tower in which the regular trainers appear and the mountain which is almost exclusively used for the story.
Mt Pyre is most known for its mountain part. As the player is required to defeat around 20 Maqua grunts in a row without getting any reward whatsoever, it has become famous as the most annoying part of the story in Pokemon Revolution Online.
Notable miscellanies
Mr. Leppa
Mr. Leppa is located in the south-east corner of Mt. Pyre 3F. He will sell packs of 50 Leppa Berries for the price of 30,000. This returns to 600 a Leppa Berry, which is the same price of an Ether for the same effect. Since they can also easily be obtained through Berry Trees, it is not recommended to purchase his deal, although it is still recommended to prepare some of them for the Maqua Encounter.
Nurse Jenny
There is a Nurse Jenny located in the middle west of Mt. Pyre 3F. She will heal the player’s Pokémons for the price of 2,500.
Maqua Encounter
Going south from the 3rd floor leads to the mountain area of Mt. Pyre. The path from there to the summit is very long. During the Maqua Encounter however, there will be many Maqua members, all having a good amount of rather high leveled Pokémons, blocking the way all along that path, which must almost all be fought in almost one go. If the player leaves midway, they will fight again. They also reward no experience nor money, which is why it is considered the most annoying story part of Pokemon Revolution Online.
Just before reaching the Mt. Pyre Summit, the player will be noticed that it is now possible to rest. Only after receiving this notice will it be possible to return to the Pokemon Center and rest without the Maqua Grunts respawning. Furthermore, none of the trainers in Mt. Pyre Summit will respawn, although they still reward no money nor experience.
There are 19 trainers with a total of 50 Pokémons in Mt. Pyre Exterior, so PP supplies must be prepared accordingly.
The Maqua encounter ends after seeing the event with the two leaders and Jackson at the very end of the summit and speaking with the old man. The next destination will be the Magma Hideout at Jagged Pass, but make sure you have received the Blue Orb and the Red Orb before leaving.
Rachel’s Friends Quest (Ketoprak)
One of the locations the fifth friend of Rachel can be found in is in Mt. Pyre Exterior, in the north-east corner. He will trade the player’s Pokeball for a Potion yet again.
The next friend to find will be Lilliana, who can be found in one of the last three cities, Mossdeep City, Sootopolis City or Pacifidlog Town.
Morty (boss)
Morty is in the center of Mt. Pyre 4F, the last floor of the tower. He will fight the player on the condition that he or she has a full team of 6 level 100 Pokémons as well as over 200 hours of accumulated playtime. See the main article for more information.
