Jagged Pass

Jagged Pass is a Hoenn mountain area, which goes down from Mt. Chimney to Route 112. Because the area is filled with ledges and one-way path, it is not possible to climb toward Mt. Chimney.

It is also the location of Team Magma’s base, which can be accessed much later in the story. To reach its entrance, it is necessary to go down the center stairs right after the first ledge from Mt. Chimney, but to head to the eastern slope instead of the slope directly under the stairs.

Magma Hideout

Team Magma’s hideout’s entrance is in Jagged Pass, in the north-eastern part. To reach it, it is necessary to go down the center stairs right after the first ledge from Mt. Chimney, but to head to the eastern slope instead of the slope directly under the stairs.

Examining the entrance will allow the player to enter the hideout, on the condition that it is the current point of the story, that is right after completing Mt. Pyre‘s Maqua Encounter and receiving the Blue Orb and Red Orb. Furthermore, it is not possible to return inside once the hideout has been completed.

Rachel’s Friends Quest (Bambang)

One of the locations the eighth friend of Rachel can be found in is in Jagged Pass, in the middle of the eastmost path. He will trade the player’s Potion for a Pokeball.

The next friend to find will be Michelle, who can be found in either Meteor Falls, Abandoned Ship or Lilycove Department Store.
