|
Route 115 is a Hoenn route linking Rustboro City to Meteor Falls. The route has a very unique layout, being separated into three parts which can all be accessed freely by the sea on the west side of the route. The southmost part is the earliest accessible, although it is blocked off everywhere by water and a one-way ledge. The middle part has the Meteor Falls entrance, and can directly jump down the southmost part. It is also where the entrance to Mineral Site is located, for after Excavation is unlocked.
More hidden is the northern part accessible only through Surf. This is where the wild land Pokémons as well as most of the trainers are at. There is also an Abandoned Pokémon: attempting to approach it from the east side reveals a secret one-way entrance to the upper floors of Meteor Falls, which normally cannot be accessed without Waterfall.
Notable miscellanies
Abandoned Pokémon and Meteor Falls hidden entrance
In the mountain area of the far north part, a blue Pokeball can be seen in a corner. Both Surf and Rock Smash are required to reach it. However, upon approaching it from the east side, the player will fall down in Meteor Falls 1F 1R, in the area directly connected to B1F 1R. This makes it possible to explore the deeper ends of Meteor Falls without Waterfall, however it is not recommended head there as soon as possible, as it will be necessary to fight a few trainers that may prove to be tough at this point of the story in order to leave the cave.
Taking the Abandoned Pokémon is possible by approaching it from the west side instead. This will provide the player with a level 5 Makuhita, which will be holding a Protein.
