Route 109 is a Hoenn route located between Slateport City and Route 108. The route is linked by land to Slateport City, however it will be necessary to use Surf in order to go down the sea routes. The Peeko Sailor will still carry the player through the sea routes to Dewford Town.
Sharing this specialty with Route 40, wild Pokémons can be encountered anywhere on the beach. However, they will not spawn on the islands further down.
Notable miscellanies
Peeko Sailor
The Peeko old man, who carried the player to Dewford Town and Route 109 for the first time, will stay at the route’s dock on the south end of the land. He will carry the player back to Dewford Town. Although he is free the first times, he will also start charging a fee of 2,500 after completing the Hoenn Elite Four.
Seashore House
In the north-west of the route is a small building known as the Seashore House. In it, the player must fight 5 trainers. After doing so, its owner, Berry, will reward the player with 5 Soda Pops.
Afterwards, he will sell the following items once a day each:
- 5 Fresh Waters for 1,000.
- 3 Soda Pops for 900.
- 1 Lemonade for 350.
